Product Description

Each piece in silver and hand carved mother of pearl, the silver to each piece

marked YS for Yat Shing (or Yat Ching) active in Canton in the early 19th century. The quality of this set is particularly high and it is rare to find, not only a complete set, but the original silk covered boxes as well. Although the boxes are distressed, they appear to be strong candidates for a sympathetic restoration.

Canton, China circa 1825
