Product Description

Diminutive walnut kneehole desks of this age and condition are extremely rare. This piece has a matched quartered veneered top above a long drawer over two three drawer pedestals centered a small pen-drawer with a locking cupboard behind. All on eight tall and well shaped bracket feet. Herringbone inlay throughout, and with exquisite original gilt brass engraved hardware and carrying handles.
An interesting and rare feature, the cupboard is movable so it can pull forward and simulate a chest of drawers.
