DESCRIPTION

From Calcutta, India, made by Hamilton, 2 ¼ ins high and marked with a full set of Indian hallmarks for around 1840-50. It is a pair of shakers (probably for salt and pepper) in the form of turrets. We have never seen this form before and find them charming (and useful)
