Product Description

A delightful and interesting miniature oak chest retaining its original internal till. This piece is too small to be called a child’s piece so could well be an apprentice piece. However, the drilled holes to the lid indicate that the chest could be strapped down and therefore there is a possibility that this was a valuables chest that would be transported when the owner traveled.

English c. 1620
