Fine George IV Leather Lined Mahogany Writing Table by Gillows

A superb quality writing desk by one of the leading makers of the Georgian era, the top lined with gilt tooled faded green leather. With two drawers to either side, one drawer stamped "GILLOW", the table is supported by fine and attractive turned, reeded and tapering legs and brass casters. The original casters stamped "COPE & COLLINSON, PATENT STRONG".
